Pago Florentino 'La Solana'

Pago Florentino has been elaborated, as we do every year, with the best grapes from the estate La Solana located at Malagón, in Ciudad Real.
The vineyards are at the foothills, protected from the north by mountains, and orientated to the south facing two natural lakes. the climate is extreme, very cold winters with temperatures below 0ºC and hot summers –easily reaching 40ºC.
The wine went then through the malolactic fermentation in new wooden barrels. Finally, the wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
